This past holiday season, I had the incredible opportunity to showcase my Harry Potter collection at the Rushden Lakes Christmas Market in Northamptonshire, organized by the fantastic team at MK Handmade and Vintage. It was an event I’ll always treasure!
The three-day market was a whirlwind of activity, filled with early starts, late finishes, and brisk winter weather that really tested my endurance. Setting up my stall each morning in the chilly air was no small task, but the excitement of the day ahead kept me motivated. As the market opened, the festive atmosphere and the eager crowds created a buzz that made all the effort worthwhile.
It was truly rewarding to see so many people respond positively to my handmade Harry Potter gifts. Watching fellow Potter fans discover my creations and seeing their faces light up with excitement was the highlight of the event. The conversations I had with other fans were just as special as sharing my creations—there’s something magical about connecting with others who share the same passion for the wizarding world.
Being part of the Rushden Lakes Christmas Market was an experience that reminded me why I love doing what I do. Despite the cold and the long hours, the joy of sharing my passion and seeing the positive reactions from customers made it all worth it. I’m already looking forward to the next event with MK Handmade and Vintage and can’t wait to bring more magic to even more fans!
If you ever have the chance to visit a market organized by MK Handmade and Vintage, or if you're thinking of setting up a stall yourself, I highly recommend it. The community spirit, the quality of the handmade products, and the enthusiasm of both sellers and buyers make it an experience like no other. Here’s to more magical markets in the future!
